Echocardiography utilizes ultrasound imaging of the heart; for the evaluation of ventricular function, cardiac valve function, congenital heart disease, hemodynamic analysis, shunt quantification, disturbed flow resulting from cardiac lesions.

PREPARATION: none

TEST RESULTS: The results will be interpreted by our cardiologists, and your physician will be sent the test results within 24 hours.
