  • Pharmacological Stress Echocardiography

This is an echocardiographic test that helps determine the presence or absence of coronary artery disease. While the echocardiographic images are being taken a medication is administered to increase your heart rate. At various intervals, the heart muscle is assessed for any wall motion abnormalities

PREPARATION: A light meal is recommended prior to testing. Hold all medication the day of the test unless otherwise directed by your physician. 

TEST RESULTS:  The results will be interpreted by our cardiologists, and your physician will be sent the test results within 24 hours.
