* Stress Echocardiography
A noninvasive diagnostic test used for evaluating patients with
known or suspected coronary artery disease. The procedure allows for the
assessment of cardiac wall motion both at rest and at peak exercise.
Assessment will be made of the extent and location of any wall motion
abnormalities and will assist in the determination of the physiologic
significance of a coronary lesion before and after a vascular
intervention.
The patient will have an echocardiography images before and after the
treadmill exercise test to assess for any wall motion changes.
PREPARATION: A light meal is recommended prior to
testing. Hold all medication the day of the test unless otherwise
directed by your physician. Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing.
TEST RESULTS: The results will be interpreted by
our cardiologists, and your physician will be sent the test results
