John M. Mandrola, M.D., F.A.C.C.
John Mandrola, M.D., F.A.C.C. is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine, and cardiac electrophysiology, a sub-specialty dealing with heart rhythm disorders. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
A 1989 graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Dr. Mandrola completed his residency at Indiana University in 1992 and completed fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology at the Krannert Institute of Cardiology at the IU School of Medicine in 1995. He received the Charles Kenner Award for Outstanding Fellow from the IU Department of Medicine in 1996.
Since 1996, Dr. Mandrola has gained substantial experience in cardiac device implantation and management, and in cardiac ablation, particularly atrial fibrillation ablation techniques. He also has been a lecturer for the Krannert Institute and director of the Arrhythmia Clinic at Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
