Rudolph F. Licandro., M.D., F.A.C.C.
Rudolph Licandro, M.D., F.A.C.C. is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, in internal medicine, and by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners for heart rhythm disorders. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
A 1980 graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Licandro completed his residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in 1983 and a fellowship in cardiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., in 1985.
Dr. Licandro is the Medical Director for the Baptist Health Louisville Cardiac Cath Lab.
Dr. Licandro’s primary interest is interventional cardiology, particularly angioplasty and treatment of heart rhythms with pacemaker and defibrillator devices. He has been involved in dozens of research studies in cardiology.
